Single Camera Drama is when you use one camera only, it is a classic method of film making for production. A single camera is employed on the set and shots each scene individually. Each of the numerous shots are taken using the same camera, the camera is then reset to record and the lighting is re-done for each camera position. Traditionally the single camera technique was used in the times of celluloid film as often the price of processing more than one camera was to great for some film makers. However, the single camera technique can still be contrasted today with 2 camera setups which are used in TV programs.
